A family farm, a shared vision and a beautiful Somerset setting. Quantock Lakes brings together over a century of family history with a love of creating unforgettable celebrations.
Set at the foot of the Quantock Hills, our family owned wedding venue has been part of the Jeanes family farm for generations. Over the past decade, we’ve transformed it into a collection of characterful wedding barns and luxurious accommodation.
Brothers Andrew and Ian have helped shape the venue with creativity, craftsmanship and personal touches. An oak tree felled on the farm became a beautiful bar, while Frank’s Bar is named after Grandfather Frank Jeanes, whose workshop once stood in that very spot.
Naomi leads our wedding team, bringing care, energy and a personal approach to the planning and celebrations. David and Ruth remain closely involved in the family business, too. You’ll often spot David on his tractor or with his toolkit in hand.
For our family, Quantock Lakes is more than a venue. It’s a place we’ve built together, and somewhere we love seeing new stories begin.

Behind every Quantock Lakes wedding is a team who love bringing it all together. From the excitement of your first viewing to the last dance, we want you to feel welcomed, supported and free to enjoy every moment.
Laura is often your first friendly face, showing you around, answering your questions and helping you picture your celebrations here.
Once your date is booked, Sarah helps turn your ideas into a plan, bringing together the details, liaising with suppliers and creating a schedule that lets your day flow.
When the day arrives, our Wedding Managers, Nadine and Kelly, take care of the details and help your day flow seamlessly. From coordinating suppliers in the morning to gathering your personal belongings at the end of the evening, they keep everything running smoothly so you can relax and soak it all in.
Our Housekeeping Managers, Liz and Nicola, bring just as much care to your stay, making sure your accommodation is beautifully presented and ready for a memorable few days with your favourite people.
And all around them is our wider team: tending the grounds, preparing the barns, stocking the bar and adding those final touches. Together, we put our hearts into making Quantock Lakes a place you and your guests will love.
