About Quantock Lakes
Quantock Lakes is a family owned and run wedding venue set in beautiful countryside that is still being farmed today.
The Jeanes family have been farming this corner of Somerset for over 100 years and in the last 10 years have diversified the farm to create a bespoke barn wedding venue with luxurious accommodation.
With its stunning location nestled at the foot of the Quantock Hills, an events location was an early and clear ambition.
Andrew and Ian Jeanes (AKA the Brothers) were both instrumental in creating the vision and building both the venue and the accommodation. Their creative touches are steeped with farming and family history, from making our beautiful oak bar from a tree felled on the farm to using Grandfather Frank Jeanes’ work bench as the original Rustic Barn bar.
Naomi (AKA the Sister) came back to the family business several years ago to head up and build on the success of Quantock Lakes weddings. Naomi has a hands on role in meeting all our brides and grooms throughout the planning process and wedding days themselves.
David and Ruth Jeanes (AKA the Mum and Dad) are still involved in the day to day running of the business. David is often seen driving a tractor or lending a helpful hand with his tool kit.
